Earth is a home to innumerable species of animals and plants who live in co-existence with each-other. Not only does the planet provides all the basic resources to us for existence but also bestow us with various enchanting landscapes. We can inevitably draw several benefits from the nature surrounding us. Most importantly, owing to current decline in natural habitat of animals, nearly 100 species are extincting per million per year. However, even if we start now, especially youngsters, we can put a halt on this occurrence and save several species which are dependent solely on the nature to live their lives. Admittedly, since every being on this planet is connected to each-other, eventually we would benefit too. Moreover, nature provides us the key factors that we require to live, such as oxygen, food, fuels and many more. For instance, 87% of oxygen is generated by marine plants, and fuels such as petroleum are derived from water bodies. Thus, by preserving oceans, we would not only reward ourselves with the enticing beauty of marine life but also derive crucial resources. Lastly, the serenity that nature offers, cannot be found in any manmade thing. There is definitely no comparison to the tranquility that our soul attains after a trip to a hill-station, a camp in the woods or a walk on a beach.
